Hi Sue,
I just wanted to send you a much deserved thank you. I know Nina has kept in contact with you regarding our hope to purchase another cozy kitten, but I just wanted to thank you for little Lucy (formerly Farrah) and let you know what a joy she has been. As Nina mentioned, I have recently been dealing with considerable medical issues and am now being retired from active duty military service and transferred to DAV (Disabled American Veteran) status. Currently I am in Germany wrapping up some administrative issues while outprocessing from the Active Army, while Nina has had to relocate to AZ for other military training.
It was hard saying goodbye to my good friend and then dealing with these medical issues. I honestly don't know if I could have made it through everything I have had to deal with, deployment, injury, medical retirement, were it not for the comfort and solace tiny Lucy has provided. It's almost beyond belief that one such small creature could be such a tremendous comfort and source of unconditional affection. My great affection for animals has always been what it is, but the comfort Lucy has brought to me is almost beyond words. I tear up even as I write this, thinking of how hard it has been. She is so tiny and loving, yet her presence roaming the rooms of my apartment and chasing back and forth and playing as she so often does - is monumental.
The night she was taken in to be spayed and had to stay at the Vet Clinic to recover showed me just how transforming her presence has been and the void her absence leaves. Surely, it is well known that animals can provide for a sick person restorative powers beyond what pills and doctor's visits can ever accomplish - and this is how Lucy helped his disabled vet begin the long healing process - even down to the silly hijinx she pulls while just playing with my walking cane.
I know there are big important jobs and politicians and world leaders that hog the public's attention and admiration, but what you do in your own little corner of the globe is, to me, really God's work - multiplying the blessings of his creatures for all the world to share in. For what she has given me, I have vowed to always take the very best care of her and will share her joy and peace with other ill people by enrolling her as a Red Cross Therapy Animal when I return to the United States. In this way your work and her blessings will continue to multiply for even more to share in.
I just wanted to thank you and let you know she is one of my greatest treasures.

Dear Sue:
Just a quick update to let you know how Layla, Sophie and Lo-Rider are doing.
Layla is now 6 months old and just beautiful.
Her "flame points" are coming in nicely and she is so sweet and cute.
She still wakens me every night because she has this wonderful habit
of wanting to climb on top of me and lie right under my chin.
The problem is - I can't breathe :0 She is so loving and being a
Toy Himalayan - she has remained petite and very dainty.
Sophie has grown tremendously and is absolutely stunning.
She is the largest of the 3 kittens - her coloring and markings are
extraordinary - you certainly do live up to your name of having
"unusual, one of a kind" colors in your Dollface Persians.
She is very regal but not at all aloof, sweet and very affectionate,
and I am quite convinced she knows she is beautiful and loves the
attention that comes with it.
My husband is totally taken by her, she sits with him each day as
he works - and every night they watch television together -
sooooooo cute.
Both girls were spayed last week and did very well. I, on the other
hand, was a nervous wreck all day waiting to her from the doctor.
They recovered very quickly and were back to normal within 48 hours.
Lo-Rider - what can I say about him? As you will remember I originally
came to you looking for 2 kittens - I quickly picked Layla and Sophie
and thought I was done.
Then you sent me a picture of this cute little guy - the size of a Pepsi can -
black, with beautiful amber eyes. I was amazed as I had never seen
a cat so small - his little legs were only 2 inches long.
When you explained to me that he was a new breed
I was fascinated. I initially had some concerns because
I wondered if he would be able to run, jump and climb like "normal"
sized cats. But after some consideration - we decided to take him
home with us too. Now I can't imagine life without him.
He is the funniest cat I have ever known - and he knows he is funny.
He can run, climb, jump and I have found him in places and had
no idea how he got up there.
Those little legs of his are like pistons - and he is fast!
Sue, although I didn't intend to take 3 kittens from you -
I just can't imagine my life without Lo-Rider - he has brought so
much joy to our lives - his coat is now a beautiful smoke black
and his eyes sparkle like they are flecked with gold dust.
I think you might wish you had kept him for yourself :)
The intent of this letter is first and foremost to say "thank you"
for your commitment to breed beautiful kittens, that are healthy,
strong, sweet natured and the best pets anyone could ever
dream of owning. So many breeders do not care about the
kittens - just the dollar signs that they see.
You are so different and it is obvious you consider this your
"calling or mission" in life.
Second, if you would like to post this letter in full or part on your
website as a testimonial, I would be delighted. I want everyone out
there who visits the Cozy Kitten website to know what a wonderful
experience is has been to get to know you and to buy kittens from you.

Lo-Rider is strong and healthy, and has quite a muscular frame to
