"Pixie Persian" - You may be asking...What is that??
Different breeders have different descriptive terms to indicate their smaller lines they work with in their cattery.
Many use the word "Tea Cup Persians"...we used to use that term however I have found that
gives the general public somewhat false expectations of what the kitty will look like full grown so we have opted
to go with the word "Pixie" here at Cozy Kitten Cattery.
Regular traditional Persians are usually quite large, cobby and muscular.
Females balancing out around 7-9 lbs and males approximately 8-12 lbs whereas the golden and
silver colored Persian family tends to be the smallest over all framed Persians.
Silvers & Goldens" are just naturally smaller kitties but in no way are grouped or categorized into
a "breed category", simply known as the smallest & most petite of the Persian feline family.
Silver and golden Persians usually produce females APPROXIMATELY 4-6 lbs and males
APPROXIMATELY 6-7 lbs.
This is not an exact size chart but merely a guideline to keep in the forefront of your mind when considering a "Pixie Persian".
The overall bone structure of the silver and golden Persian is usually more petite and delicate
than that of a say solid white, bi-color or Himalayan...not that you can not get those colors from time to time in
the more smaller sizes, it's just the silver and goldens are more known for continuously producing these
small framed kitties.
The Pixie Persians are every bit as healthy, loveable and inelegant as the larger framed kitties they
just have a smaller over frame/build.
The Pixies (at least the ones produced here at Cozy Kitten Cattery ) are purebred and not in any way
crossed with another breed to achieve their naturally smaller body type.
Pixies are usually higher in price, not so much because they are smaller but because their colors are that of the
more expensive designer category.
The silver and goldens have long since been known for and referred to as the "Royals Royce" of the Persian
colors therefore you should be expecting more elaborate price tags when shopping for a Pixie Persian.
Pixie Persians have a fairly small selection of colors to choose from (Shaded Silver, Silver Chinchilla,
Shaded Golden, Chinchilla Golden, Blue Silver - "ULTRA RARE" Designer Colors: Blue Chinchilla Golden,
Silver & White, Golden & White and Blue Chinchilla & White)
Please Note: Because "Silvers & Goldens" (Pixies/Tea Cups) are smaller and more delicate they should
NEVER be allowed to leave the breeder's home until they are at least 12 weeks of age.
All ethical breeders enforce this adoption age limit on "Silver/Goldens- Pixies-Tea Cups"
As we can see, the Internet seems to be ate alive with so called "mini -persians", which DO NOT EXIST!
I always advise people to call CFA or TICA and confirm the validity of this well known FACT.
It has become a "marketing ploy" to sell kittens and label them "miniature cats".
"Start with honesty and then you will build trust"....that is our philosophy here at Cozy Kitten Cattery.
So please keep in mind, if your looking for a smaller kitty, you will most likely want a silver or golden Persian,
however it is important to remember....they are NOT "miniature cats" simply known for being the most petite
and small framed.
I hope this information has set the record straight for those of you wanting a "mini-kitty".

 FYI - Some of you may be wondering why some of the kittens are priced
higher and do not ever go on sale.
That is because those are the ones we are willing to keep back as
future breeders should they not bring their full asking price.
Please note:
We are NOT a pet store and will not sell our kittens to just anyone off the Internet.
We require an in depth application to be filled out prior to the adoption of any of
our kittens to ensure we have made every attempt to place each and every
kitten in the perfect home suitable for them.
We reserve the right to refuse sale of any Cozy Kitten, at any time with no explanation
should we feel that your home is not a good match for one of our kittens.
Deposits if already paid will be refunded back to the customer.

Rest assured Cozy Kitten Cattery does NOT have ringworm in ANY of our cats or kittens.
This is a widespread problem in many Persian & Himalayan catteries and one many
breeders refer to as a "Persian Issue".
That is NOT true and one major headache (that is transmittable to humans) that will not be
apart of your adoption experience when adopting a Cozy Kitten.
In many cases breeders will sell Persian & Himalayan kittens at greatly reduced prices
because of this non-stop issue that resides in their cattery.

Dearest Sue,
I wanted to take a moment to say thank you. The words "thank you" don't even seem wonderful enough to express what joy you have brought to our lives by the wonderful service you provide.
Who knew we could find love on the internet?? I had been browsing your site for months, enjoying each picture that you lovingly took of the precious furbabies that were born under your care. I wanted one of my own, but couldn't imagine how I could trust paying money and expecting in return to actually receive the kitten of my choice and not be "taken." Through a couple of emails with you that you so graciously took the time to respond to very timely, I knew that you were the "real deal." You helped me pick out the perfect kitten for my lifestyle and home, and within a week managed to have her on a plane and in my arms! We anxiously and eagerly waited at the airport for her flight to come in, and I knew which little crate must be hers since you had put so much padding and love into her mobile home. I also knew it was mine because she looked exactly like her picture that I had seen on your website! We took her home and it has been love ever since. My husband just adores her! He is a big strapping Air Force Officer and I wasn't so sure how he would take to a little kitten under foot, but they are crazy about each other. She has become such a delightful part of our lives and I don't know what I did before her arrival! She waits for the alarm to go off each morning, I hit snooze, and somewhere in those ten minutes, she creeps over to me and kisses my forehead every morning! What a sweetie!
Thank you for the time you put into your website and your kittens. The love and care of each one of these precious kittens is evident and even more so once you see their wonderful temperment. You are one of a kind. I searched the internet before making a decision, and to anyone contemplating using Sue, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME LOOKING ANY FURTHER! THESE KITTENS ARE THE BEST! There is no other breeder doing what you do. When I took her to the Vet, they said she was the most beautiful kitten they had ever seen and they were thrilled with her face and nose and that she had been bred so that she actually had one and could breathe correctly. Every one that meets her says she is the most beautiful kitten in the world. The "oooohs and awwwwwws" just keep coming. I would have paid double knowing what I know now.

To Whom It May Concern
I'm writing to tell of our wonderful experience with Sue and Cozy Kitten Cattery.
My husband and I were somewhat worried about the risk of buying a kitten on the internet.
Then we came across the Cozy Kitten website while I was searching for a Persian kitten.
But when I seen the beautiful photos I was amazed. Then I started reading Sue's website. It was full of information. It didn't just have pictures and prices. It has information to purchasing a kitten online to taking your kitten home. I have never seen a website so well put together. You could tell just by reading how much Sue cared and loved these babies. Everyday I looked on the website looking at the beautiful fur babies.
Then one day there she was 'A gorgeous Pixie/toy Tortie Himalayan. I knew the first time I seen her this was Reecee. I e-mailed Sue asking her to call me. She did fifteen minutes later. You will not find anyone more caring and sweet as Sue. I could right tell away just how much she loved and cared about her kittens. Sue talked to me for thirty minutes answering all my questions and by the time I got off the phone I had not a doubt in my mind. I wrote e-mails to Sue just checking on Reecee till she got to come home to me. As busy as I know she must have been she always answered me with little things Reecee was doing.
Well, the big day arrived for us to pick Reecee up. When I opened the carrier up and seen her I couldn't believe it. She was even more gorgeous than her picture. I e-mailed Sue when we got home to let her know Reecee had got here safely. The next night Sue's husband Rob called to check on Reecee. These people are truly loving, honest, and caring people.
We've had Reecee now for two weeks and she's sweet as can be. I took her to our vet and she got a clean bill of health. Everybody that works in her office wanted to hold her. My husband and I just sit in the evenings watching her play. She is just so cute and has such a loving personality. Every time I look down at Reecee sleeping in my arms I say a thank you to Sue.
